Amazing views in Brasov, at Toscana guesthouse 4*

Our last stop of the tour was in Brasov. Brasov is the most touristic city in Romania and has so much to offer to visitors that I could not leave it outside the itinerary. So I chose to spend the last night at Toscana 4 * guesthouse in Brasov.

On the way to Poiana Brasov, a 4-star guesthouse hides on the hill facing the mountains, turning its back to the city. The views of the sinuous valleys resembles the ones in Tuscany region, which inspired the name of the guest house. Eight double rooms await guests, decorated in warm colors and with all the amenities of a 4-star hotel: white bedsheets, immaculate towels and matching slippers. One of them was ours for a night and we slept very well in it.

Toscana guesthouse is especially frequented by those who come with business in Brasov, being close enough to the city, comfortable and adapted to the needs of this kind of customer. It offers high speed internet, in-room office and a flexible breakfast when needed. The LED TV in the room could be connected to my laptop to watch movies from bed.

Foreigners also come here often to enjoy Brasov, one of the best-known cities in Romania, but also the comfort they are used to. The third category of ‘home’ clients are families with children. These can be accommodated in the attic apartment with a standard room with large bathtub and a living room with two sofas, one of which is extensible. The apartment overlooks the hills and the nearby mountains on one side and the city on the other side. The little ones can enjoy the playground outside or run through the green orchard full of trees.

At Toscana I was pleasantly surprised by care for the customer: the guests have fruits, pastries and tea and on cool evenings they can sit on the terrace and admire the mountains under the blankets. And if the name of the place makes them miss Italy, they can always enjoy a good wine from those specially brought from Tuscany Italy.

Toscana 4* does not have its own restaurant. But it has a few tables in the living room, arranged for breakfast and used by guests when ordering food. And if outside is warm  nothing compares with a meal on the terrace – the place can praise with the most beautiful view from Brasov!

The city is an excellent base for excursions in the area – to Peles, Bran, to the fortified churches around or even further, to Racos and Sighisoara. I could walk in this county a week without getting bored. And for active holidays I need good night rest and nice views, so I can enjoy the mountains. That’s how I came to Toscana Guesthouse in Brasov.
